Brown Life Light Psychology was founded on the principle that everyone has the potential to become the person they were always meant to be before the world told them who they should be.  It’s easy to lose sight of who we are when we experience trauma, betrayal, abuse, and grief.

At Brown Life Light Psychology, we are here to help you find the person you were always meant to be so you can live your life authentically and with your full potential. We will meet you exactly where you are in your life’s journey, and help you release all of the expectations, poisonous memories and limiting beliefs that do not belong to you.

Biography

Dr. Carolyn Brown, PsyD, is a licensed Clinical Psychologist, a certified Hypnotherapist and a USAF Retired Combat Veteran. Dr. Brown joined the USAF in 1991 and honorably retired in 2012 after 21 years of Active Duty at the rank of Master Sergeant.

Dr. Brown holds a Doctorate Degree in Clinical Psychology, a Master of Arts Degree in Clinical Psychology, a Master of Arts Degree in Counseling Psychology, a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Social Psychology, and three Associate Degrees from the Community College of the Air Force. In 2013, Dr. Brown received her certification in hypnosis from the National Guild of Hypnotists.

Dr. Brown specializes in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and utilizes hypnotherapy in conjunction with talk therapy. Dr. Brown has extensive experience treating clients with a history of trauma, anxiety, depression, phobias, and relationship dysfunction.

Dr. Brown often uses hypnotherapy to enhance sports & work performance, boost self-confidence, aid in weight loss, as well as reducing insomnia, and anxiety.
